arcity — design interview

Design Interview Tool — internal product for structured interviews with leads. Website: internal. Live preview runs on a Lovable deployment for demos.

my part

The product was built entirely by me — from concept and UX logic to full implementation.

I designed the interview flow, defined the analytical structure behind it, and developed the system end-to-end as a fully functional internal tool.

Design Interview Tool is an internal product used to run structured design interviews with leads.

It transforms a typical discovery call into a controlled, interactive process where the interface adapts in real time based on user input. Instead of a static conversation, the system guides both sides through a dynamic flow, ensuring that nothing important is missed.

The tool is built around the idea that most client interviews are inconsistent and heavily dependent on the person conducting them.

Here, the process is standardized and systematized. The interface evolves step by step, collecting inputs, refining requirements, and building a coherent picture of the product.

It allows teams to uncover real user needs instead of surface-level requests, identify constraints and edge cases early, highlight potential red flags, and produce more accurate development estimates.

In practice, it acts as a hybrid between an interview script and a decision-making system.

The logic of the tool is heavily influenced by my experience as a business and system analyst.

Each step is designed not just to collect answers, but to validate assumptions, reduce ambiguity, and guide the conversation toward actionable outcomes.

The interface dynamically adapts based on previous inputs, effectively turning the interview into a branching scenario rather than a linear form.
